Dr. Luc Tien Nguyen is currently
a Consulting Manager at Bay Networks Professional Services. He manage a
professional team of analysts and consultants dedicated to helping large
corporations in designing, optimizing, and managing their networks. Before
that he was an Assistant Director of Data Communications Research at BellSouth
in Atlanta. His research activity focuses on High Speed Data Communications
Network, and Defining and Creating innovative Data Communications Services
for the future. From 1979 to 1989, Dr. Luc was a Member of Technical Staff
with Bell Laboratories where he conducted research on many different areas
of telecommunications including Traffic Engineering, Real time Routing,
Advanced Intelligent Network, Integrated Voice/Data Network Design, and
LAN/MAN/WAN integration. Dr. Luc received the BS in Information and Computer
Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, MS and Ph.D. in Operations
Research from Columbia University. |
