DOAN LIEN PHUNG, Ph.D.

Dr. Doan Lien Phung, Ph.D., P.E. received his B.S. degrees in Physis and Mathematics from Florida State University, M.S. degrees in Physics and Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering from MIT. Over a period of 32 years, Dr. Phung has worked as a researcher, engineer, scientist, and a manager both in Vietnam and in the United States. He is the author and co-author of more than 100 technical papers and five books. He has been an invited consultant to the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, and the Electrical Power Reserach Institute. In 1983, Dr. Phung established PAI Corp, an energy and environment company, in corporation with his wife, Thu-Le Doan, PAI is now an $18 million consulting firm in energy and environment.
