TONG GIA VUONG, Ph.D.

Tong Gia Vuong has about 30 years of work experience in the areas of power systems, high performance computing, and AI technologies. He received the BS, MS degrees from Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal, Canada and the Ph.D. degree from INRS-Energie, Varennes, Canada, all in electrical engineering. Currently, Dr. Vuong is a Sr. Engineer at Hydro-Quecbec, Montreal, Co. at Canada, where he held various technical positions since joining in 1969. Dr. Vuong was the Chairman of VACETS Technical Affairs Committee (1995-1996), and was an advisor to VACETS during 1994-1995.
