TRI THUC HA received the BSEE (summa cum laude) and MSEE degrees from Ohio University, and the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland. He has worked for Fairchild Industries in the area of microwaves, and GTE in the area of satellite communications. He was an associate professor in the department of electrical engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (83-87). Since 1987, he has been with the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, where he is a full professor of electrical and computer engineering. He teaches and conducts research in the areas of satellite communications, cellular and indoor wireless communications, fiber optic communications, networks, and antijam systems. He is the author of two books and one second edition, and has authored and co-authored more than seventy technical publications. Dr. Ha is an IEEE Fellow, and an advisor to VACETS since 1994. |
