VIET-DUNG HOANG, Ph.D.

VIET-DUNG HOANG received his BS EE from the University of Rochester, New York, MS EE and PhD EE from the University of Maryland. Dr. Hoang is a Senior Staff Engineer with the Maritime Applications Program of the Mitretek Systems, headquartered in McLean, Virginia. Prior to joining Mitretek Systems, he held a number of technical and management positions at the MITRE Corporation, GTE Spacenet Corporation, COMSAT Laboratories, General Electric Company, and Computer Science Corporation. Dr. Hoang is a founding member of VACETS. He was a Vice-Chairman of VACETS in charge of the Technical Affairs committee, and the President of VACETS during the terms 1994-1995 and 1995-1996, respectively. He serves as a VACETS Board member since 1994.
